Tissot Watches - Review Of The Tissot Touch Screen

Watches Tissot watches has been revolutionary since the company began manufacturing watches. The company made the first anti-magnetic watch, the first plastic watch, the watch displays the first stone and wood in the first place. Now with the introduction of the T-Touch, Tissot offers the world's first watch with functions that are activated by a touch screen.

Tissot T-Touch is not going to appeal to everyone. I suspect the main clientele is young, gadget-loving men, who would surely want to see the dress that comes in a lot of techno-magic. Well, this Tissot watch will not disappoint.

Other watches offer access menus that so far, but access to the T-Touch menu differs in that it is accessible by touching the screen (glass) front yesterday. Using this method allows easy access to the function, whether you have to "drill down" a hierarchy of menu items, you can access the function directly touching specific areas of the screen. In addition, if you miss the show, do not have to return to the start menu and start over.

So what you get with the Tissot touch screen?

There are 11 functions in all including Compass, altimeter, thermometer, barometer, chronograph, alarm, analogue display and digital clock and converting metric / imperial.

To access the touch screen, you must first press the middle button for two seconds right, then lightly tap various parts of the sapphire crystal to get where you want to go. Some will say that the first duty of holding a key for 2 seconds is irritating, but imagine if that was not needed during the day, it would be inadvertently changing the function without knowing it, so every time I looked at the shows is a arbitrary function rather than the set time.

Although the functions work very well, you should be aware of some points. For example, the thermometer temperature, so make sure you wear a watch as you take temperature reading. Instruction manual advised that the clock should be removed from the wrist 20 minutes before you can take an accurate reading.

The barometer function is called by Weather Tissot, which means you get a weather trend indicator and not a true reading of isobars. The reading is done by placing the hands, 12-position indicates stable weather, to the right of 12 indicates improving whereas the left means deteriorating weather. The further from 12 hands, the most extreme weather. While some may be disappointed with this "name" they could be encouraged by the fact that the clock uses data from the last 8 hours.

The altimeter also needs some adjustments. It calculates approximate altitude but high and low pressure affects the results. But you can calibrate it in advance.

Some of you may think that the functions are slightly less feature-true, but the compass function will not disappoint. Not only is the show you can also display magnetic north true north.

The only drawback is that you must know your declination - the angle between magnetic and geographic north. A true techy will know his / her declination but if not, you can easily find online. Simply enter your decline and ready to display true north.

The watch case comes in stainless steel or titanium with the dial comes in white, silver and black. As for the strap, you can choose between blue, white leather, steel or rubber. The configuration is the coolest titanium case with black face and orange strap - very stylish. I'm not a fan of Tissot watches, but I am a great of the T-Touch.
